I'd get back to Vista if it wasn't for just those things you mention, security updates. Windows has since been in a free fall

Only good thing I want from windows 11 is that you can run android apps natively on it.

Switched to Mac and Linux after the Vista debacle, never looked back. Windows 7 was good though.

MS now appear to be saying that the release version of Windows 11 will only run on Intel chips from 2017 onwards (8th generation & above) and AMD chips from 2019 onwards .
The pre-release version runs fine on the older chips (as Ceedy has already proven), so it seems it's a conscious decision from MS to persuade folk to upgrade hardware. I don't think they're doing themselves any favours to put it mildly. Cliff
