Default TestBook 2 for sale.

Testbook 2 for sale

I have had this unit for around 6 years, used on my cars and a few others that have popped around.
It has an updated processor (I believe Brian did the upgrade many years ago), allowing it to run T4 disc, the old processor is included in the sale.
The touchscreen is also included, although I have never used nor tested it as the monitor works fine for my requirements. There are a lot of connections for a range of Rover models, as well as mini and the Land Rovers. I have only used the Rover/MG leads and discs and they have worked as required. There are around 30 disks including the 4.04 rescue disc and the Rover Rave disc as well.
There are two of the Testbook bricks, used to communicate between the car and the T2, one of which was working until I connected the wrong lead to it. It needs a few new resistors. The original printer and sealed cartridges are included (condition unknown)
I have mainly used the diagnostics and fault code function, reset and coded components such as the light modules, cruise control, Cabin heater and seats etc. I have bled the bakes by circulating the ABS pump and made a new key for the Rover 75 and 45. Apparently it can be used to upgrade the power on the diesel but have not attempted that at all.
It is the T2 so bulky and slower than the T4 but has many of the same functions and certainly adequate for a home workshop. It is more stable and does more that the PC based clone, Toaf.
I have sold all but 1 Rover and that has all the extras that can be added and have not used the unit in a few years, other than testing it today, it will be demonstrated to the new owner.
For this reason it is collection only from the SP postcode- Near Andover/Tidworth on the 303.
The unit owes me in excess of £1000, the leads and some of the discs alone are worth that but want it to be sold as one unit for around that amount ONCO. Cash on Collection.
I have used it but am by no means any expert on its functions or related processors etc, I can answer the questions that I can. I am sure there are many on here that will answer any questions that may arise.
To be listed on eBay shortly.
