Default Facebook post hijack!

The other half posted on the facebook Rover group asking for a rear sandstone roof light. Someone decided to comment "I'm also looking for one", not great but meh

Then someone replied to that guy saying he had one.
seems a bit jack...

On a side note if anyones got a sandstone rear roof light we'd greatly appreciate it!

Funnily enough, I'm also looking for one .

Not really - just kidding Really not good form hijacking like that, but I dare say it wasn't deliberate, probably just a bit thoughtless. I'm sure one of the traders here will sort you out with one

Drop Trikey Or Mickyboy a message. I would be surprised if one of them didn’t have one.

Matt Darke aka Cable Tie could probably help.

I've had several sandstone rear roof lights, and they all break off at the clips. Some kind of plastic brittleness, or age fatigue, I suppose. Has anyone found a decent workaround repair for these, as I am fed up with having a hole in the roof lining above the rear seat!

If this is the 'annoyingly see the light dangling in your rear view mirror after going over a bump', I've repaired mine with 2 self tapping screws, padded with duck tape. Not fallen off since this repair (done soon after I got the car). Ignore the plastic sweet-tub support, that did not work!

Yes, very succinctly put, this rather unnerving event has happened to me at least three times! A definite design fault, or lack of materials longevity research at Rover. Thanks, I'll try your suggestion!
