Default Price for replacing top mounts

Hi.
I have to admit defeat
I normally do just about everything to the car, at this time I am not able to do the work, I have a problem health wise that has reared it's head that means no this time.
I have two new top mounts with the bearings for the front struts, what would be the likely labour charges from a decent garage for this work do you think?
Thanks in advance.

Default Duncan

Drive through and get Duncan (Cossie Dunc) to do it Trevor. Not too far from you and is very fair with his pricing.

It would take about 2 hours in total.... So whatever the labour charge is per hour, id say £30 an hour seems about right.

Doopydug did mine at their garage in Kirkcaldy, can't remember exact price but he changed all my springs to and fairly certain the total bill was less than £100. Shouldn't be far from that figure.

Hi Guys.
Due to the distance from me to Dunc I decided to call a friend of mine that has a garage in the centre of Kilmarnock, I got a price of £80 for both sides, I have the top mounts/bearings that I got from DMGRS so I'm just about to leave and drop the car off. I'm sure he'll do a good job as he knows that I am fussy.

£80 all in seems fine to me, it's not a quick 10 minute job.
Also good it's being done by someone who knows the cars, not an apprentice who doesn't know his stuff.

Hi.
It was just as well I didn't take the car to Dunc, I'd have been stranded in Whitburn Both struts were jammed solid in the upper bush, they are still working on the car now and have been at it for nearly 4 hours, they are though going to drop the car off. Bill though up from £80 to around £150.

Hi.
Well when I collected the car it was rattling away like nothing else on earth, the steering too was wandering.
The photos tell the story.
Riot act tomorrow I think.
