Default Just subscribed...how could I not!

So i finally got round to getting a paypal account so I've paid my £10 to join the club properly. When I thought about it I relaised that there was no way I could not join after all the help I've had from you guys through the forum. If it wasn't for this place I would have got annoyed very quickly with my new 75. That leaking boot was starting to drive me potty before I found this forum!

So, lets find out what benefits this £10 has got me then...

Many thanks for subscribing. You'll notice you now have increased PM space, access to all areas, membership pack (these will be sent out in the near future) and discounts and benefits available to you. Enjoy!

You should fill it in on your profile with all other details.
Important things cannot be seen by the Members and is not used or sold on to anyone, and only used for Club Business.

If we don't have a members address we won't be able to send out Club Membership pack with window sticker, membership cards etc.
If ready some may be distributed at club National meet.

Well done that man.

Whereabouts in Peterborough are you?

Come along to the next Burghley House meet in Stamford and meet some of the gang. or even better put your name down for the national meet at Gaydon. Plenty of local meets coming up, Gaydon, Duxford, BL/BMC rally at Peterborugh.

See the Events thread.

Stubs

Fair enough. I'll get that sorted. Cheers!

Hi Stuart. I live pretty much in the centre...walking distance from Queensgate.

I'll see if i can convince swmbo that a trip to Burleigh house is a good idea!

I'm definitely going to the BMC/BL meet at nene park in August though

Mostly it is to do with getting members to put their location and engine type, so we don't have to keep asking when helping out.
Putting your complete address in the system will enable the shop to quickly despatch the membership packs when they are complete, (some items are already here, just waiting for suppliers for other bits now). However, addresses can be gleaned from Paypal details when you subscribed, just a bit more work involved.
Personal details cannot be accessed by anyone other than the club mods and admin and we will never divulge them. We are governed by the Data Protection Act. More importantly the clubs good name.

A membership card (credit card style) Will eventually be used for gaining discounts at retailers, negotiations are ongoing. These are already here.
Club window sticker (self stick vinyl type, no glues) Waiting on supplier.
Tax disc holder (self stick vinyl type) Waiting on supplier.

I do not have an accurate figure for the current subscribed membership but I can tell you it is in excess of 10% of the total and rising. Which for a voluntary subscription system is very good indeed.
