Default Do you ever have "one of those days"?

Well to-day started a wet 5am....puncture! Arrived at work, lift from car park unserviceable....on seventh floor! Went to swipe access card...left in car, back up/down those stairs! Coffee machine u/s! Spent all day up/down steps to Fin area because scissors lifts all u/s Grrrrr! and now the best part. John might be able to relate to this one, nearly everyone trying to fix IFE in cabin....boss fretfull....OPS want aircraft yesterday, so no pressure.Yours Truly has pulled lots of c.b.s to isolate job in hand, job done so c.bs back in to BITE check (sorry its rambling a bit now!), as I push the very last c.b. and I am in the area right up in the rear of the fuselage roof structure next to the black boxes, I here the relay click then WHOOMP! everything on the plane goes off!! all the power, total darkness and silence!! I cannot print here what I said, or tell you what colour trousers went! emergency lighting came on, then power gradually. I went to flight deck to find the Avionics guys were doing an emergency shutdown check.....at the exact time I pressed that breaker back in!!!!!
Blasted Coneheads!!!!!!!As you can imagine I got rather ribbed, to end the perfect day the fuel light came on as soon as I got on M25!....you can drive 45 miles with it on!!Sorry to ramble...have a giggle at my expense guys!

Yeah, I'm sure we can all relate to that, every one has a day thats best forgotton about!

Your abbreviations...

FIN Area?

IFE? = In Flight Entertainment

CBS/CB = Circuit Breakers?

BITE = Built In Test Equipment?

M25 = Carpark?
