creaky suspension? - Page 2

Had a creaking from the front suspension and it turned out to be the outer balljoint in one of the lower arms - the one that connects to the bottom of the hub.

I bought my V6 petrol new in Nov 2000. From the off the rear suspension creaked at low speeds particularly over speed humps. Took it back to supplying dealer and they fixed it by clipping impregnated felt lubricating pads to chrome strut shafts.
