I'm running Windows 10, and using Windows Defender (it's FOC and highly rated nowadays) as antivirus, allied to Malwarebytes for protection against malware. Although I do get the 'unlocked padlock' symbol on some of the site's pages, I have not had any problems accessing ANY of the Club's pages

In response to Colvert's post, no. 37.
My reply to you came from me, on Jan's I-pad, which I used in desperation. I can currently get into the site using my phone, with tapatalk. Neither of the above really compare with my laptop, which as of 10 mins ago, I can now use. The turning point was, for the 5th or 6th time putting the club name into my AVG exclusions list; this time it has worked -- BUT what risks am I taking? The general consensus seems to vary between "none" & "open to malware" Regards Mike

Personally, I make no exception for this site security wise. I think it is wise to do so as very few members do not seem to be interested in something which does not affect them atm. Human nature I guess but Lufthansa copped it bigtime not long ago with their servers - it does happen.

As spotted by coolguy, on another string, AVG is no longer blocking access to this site.
Thanks to those who have overcome the problem. Regards Mike

AVG confirmed the alert was a false positive and have removed it from their listing. Probably take a day or so to perculate to all users.
