The hinges can sag and are easily replaced. The striker plate can be adjusted. Mark around affected part with a fine liner before moving for alignment. A cushioned jack is helpful to take the weight under the door and an extra pair of hands is invaluable.

the door isn't sagging it's protrudes slightly at the top and is in slightly at the bottom i was told to adjust it in at the top and that would bring it out at the bottom but wasn't told how to do it if that makes sense

Hi George
On the door you should have some rubber stops, turn them either in or out to adjust the door at top or bottom.
