Saloon Rear Lenses

Ever since I replaced of of the rear clusters on Tarquin I've noticed that one set of lights is brighter than the other side. This has confused me a bit, as both set's of bulbs are identical.

Were the lenses ever modified at some point? Do Mk1 variants have different shades to the Mk2?

Only difference is 75's have smoked reversing light lenses where as ZT ones are clear, other than that they are identical
