Default Timing camshaft

Hi there
Today busy with assembly cylinderheads
I noticed that( i use special tool for adjust)
When i lock camshaft on longbeld side
And want to mount the rear small belt are not in line
It is a difference of few mm
On my other head it looks ok locking tool in place
Small belt wheels in line
What do i wrong?

Have a read of this to check your procedure . After you have fitted the large front belt , when fitting the small rear belts it is usually necessary to rotate the exhaust camshaft a little . Is this what you are experiencing ?

Chris; I think what Frank means is that the notches on the rear sprockets don't quite align with the flywheel/drive plate locking pin in place.

Frank; I and others have found this. Having renewed the front belt, remove the flywheel/drive plate locking pin and rotate the engine very slightly until the rear sprocket notches align. Now you will be able to fit the rear tools.

That's because the oil cooler pipes need to be disconnected.
