Default Flap / door

Here's the engine side of a flap. The pale green stuff is the adhesive backing tape left behind after the foam (what was left of it) has been scraped off.

The other side with foam scraped off.

The bare flap after the backing sheet has been dissolved in petrol and scraped off (messy!). The rust has been caused by the flat backing sheet not contacting the area around the raised rectangle. Bound to happen. Poor design.
