Default Trump

I was going to tag this on to another thread, but then thought I'd put it on a separate one as it may get the wrong sort of replies and get closed down (which I do understand), so here goes.....

Trump, has been appointed as the President of the United States of America, to represent 330 million people....he and his Government appoint experts to advise the best policy and way forward, especially with regard to the current situation, i.e. corona virus pandemic. To possibly save the loss of tens of thousands of lives the experts advise that it would be sensible for all to wear face masks. Trump, then says he will not be wearing one. I personally think this is despicable example to set, why promote the idea if he, "the boss", is not going to go along with it?

Thankfully, and oddly, his wife has then made a video promoting the use of face masks, very brave.

I had already stated on other threads that we should watch what happens in the United States but this was not what I had in mind. The United States consists really of many individual "states" that would normally run separately from the U.S., and I can see this becoming more apparent if they are still lambasted for asking for help. Ironically, this is where the EU is going with the protection of Sovereign borders creating separate entities once more.

He is a businessman, and a highly successful one. When it's his commercial subject he talks quite coherently, but when there's not a profit in it, then things change.

I have observed several times that he may be suffering from early dementia, though, that is a stupid statement when one considers his age as he is in his early seventies.

I watch his speech to the nation every night on CNN. What i really can't understand is,he still has support of around 50% of the electorate. A couple of things i have picked up on,trouble with the 3M company, he has told them that they must only make antivirus for use in the U.S.A. even their overseas production factories are not allowed to sell equipment to the country their sited.
While all the attention is on the virus he is pushing through a bill that goes against one Obama put up to encourage car manufacturers to make cars more efficient and more environmentally friendly.
While making his speeches he sometimes says something he should't,like don't panic it will all be over by Easter. Then a scientist DR ? can't remember name gets up to contradict him with a carefully worded statement. This DR has not been on for the last two nights. When reporter asked Trump where he was ,he replied "He is not here, there is no problem,he is just not here."

When he was elected I emailed a west coast lawyer friend and asked, "Oh America what have you done?"

Now we can all see and hear what they have done and it is not for the better./

Total waste of space.

I am happy to see that political views are now accepted.
I have always believed in free speech, and that politics form an intricate part of our lives, and it therefore also ought to be discussed like anything else.

Wrong Kaiser, political posts are still not permitted.

(FAQ) Club Rule 15. There is no room on this forum for sexism, racism or religious bigotry. In addition your political views are yours, and yours alone. Other forums exist for the purpose of debating this topic. You may not use these forums to promote political beliefs or to encourage or persuade others to conform to your views.

The replies on this thread are not talking about his politics or attempting to persuade others to conform to his or their political views, but they are merely about the man himself......currently

Could this possibly be a tongue in cheek post. Just saying...
