I haven't heard about the freezer trick for years! Has anyone tried it with modern radios?

Radio Code
If I remember rightly the left and right 'buttons' mentioned are the main knobs for volume (left) and tuning (right)

A quick search over a coffee and I found this post and after waiting for the radio to have a half hour break , it let us follow the instructions and we were back in business. Thanks so much for the advice and we also had to press the right side button instead of button 6 ! |

I have the CR80 with the flap down thing for the CD. If you use the CD then the radio loses the code and all the settings so need to re-programme the channels.
I see in the how to stickies that the code can be removed altogether but wonder if this will solve my problem? Daft thing is it all works fine otherwise. I'm planning a new head unit but the HPFP, new hydramount and now wheel bearing have taken the money. JohnnhyBG |
