Hold my hands up, that image is not mine, lifted off the 'net.

Very tempted to deploy that method though. May get a parts cleaner instead once I've freed up more space in my garage. I prefer a clean engine bay and other components to a clean paintwork exterior.

I've seen used dishwashers on gumtree for as little as £20 in working condition. Go on, spoil yourself! Spanners fit nicely in the fork trays (don't ask how I know that!).
