Default Dog Treats.

While in Tesco today wife asked me to pick up a pack of dog treats.
"Wagtastic Chewy Chicken Twists." Large pack £7. Looked at label below which stated equivalent to £28/kilo. Walked over to Meat counter ,best steak or beef was £15/18 per Kilo. We are doing something wrong. It's a dogs' life.
Just to add 2ltrs oil £6, 4 ltrs £20.

Cooking oil I suspect might be priced to try to point diesel owners in the direction of Tesco's fuel pumps lol.

You can get the same treats in the range(if you have one nearby) , also in beef and plain flavors... £4.99

If you have a local Home Bargains - they do a very large bag of dog chews, which are misshapes from the large dog treat makers (pedigree dentastix etc). Far cheaper than the posh boxed versions.............and our mutt has never complained about them.

Best value treat to give a dog that is food motivated is to make up liver cake, lots of recipes for dogs on-line. Stinks to cook but costs pennies in comparison with manufactured treats, use it very sparingly, lasts ages.

Another if you want something straight out of the packet are the cheapest packet of hot dogs you can find, available for £1 no need to cook, sliced thinly, again used sparingly.
