I'm obviously an amateur compared to others on this thread. Here is my own list of cars.
I learned on a Red Mini countryman and a Grey Morris Minor. My first owned car was a second hand Red MG 1300. I took the seats out to carry disco gear around Dundee in 1974. Since then.... Blue MGB GT Silver Jaguar XJ6 auto Red MGB GT V8 with cream vinyl roof. Dark maroon with red racing stripes Vauxhall Sporthatch White Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Midnight blue Daimler Sovereign with cream leather upholstery (lovely cruiser) Red Ford XR3i Red Triumph 2.5 Pi White Vauxhall Astra GTi White Lancia Delta Turbo with Martini Stripes! White Landrover 110 (lots of 'Dune Bashing' in Saudi Arabia) White landrover Discovery ( much better A/C than the 110) Camouflage ex- Desert Storm Armed forces 110 with super heavy duty suspension ( Even more bone jarring than regular 110) White GMC Typhoon (4.2 turbo) Red Rover 827 with all bells and whistles (lovely car). Grey Ford Granada Ghia 2.8 Silver BMW 323i Bauer convertible. White Transit..totalled by my son in law...(not his fault) My current vehicles are a white Golf Bluemotion tdi (2.0l), A white Transit 280, a silver Astra turbo convertible, and last but not least, my all time favourite silver grey MG ZT 260 V8. This one was the only car I bought new in 2005 when Rover went bust. 40% discount clinched the deal! Lots of nostalgia while remembering these cars. Great idea. Cheers to everyone else who posted. You all know what I mean. Last edited by edwardmk; 15th September 2019 at 20:03.. Reason: forgot two cars |
