Default What a rip off eh?

Me back box will need replacing soon so I went to local exhaust fitter to get a quote.
£170 +vat to supply and fit. £70 +vat if I supply the back box and they fit it.
In your dreams I thought.
I've had a looksee about and come to the conclusion I could do it meself.
If I get a exhaust pipe cutting tool like them mole grips with a chain and cutting wheels, then if I jack the car high enough it should be achievable.
What do members think?
After it's done the pipe cutters could go back on Ebay.
Next problem is sussing out a back box for a diesel tourer that fits
Again any suggestions will be gratefully received
If any members have done this to there car please comment on how it went and any suggestions to make it easier.
