So how did you get it for that price?
In contact with Suav and they quote a high price $588 US = 356 GBP
How could i pursue that deal?

This was not bought from SUAV that is why it is cheaper ,link to manufacturer is in first post under the last picture.Ipod.....doesn't look like there is a way to connect it on the back,just the usb socket on the front.No TMC as the hardware is not there and you can use any nav software mine came with igo8 and it works fine.

have they had any luck changing it to the Rover opening screen?
instead of the MG?

No,they never sent the file,but you don't get the MG splash screen on startup,just when it's loading a disc.

did it come with UK maps?
How do you load maps i.e Australia?
do i request it from them?

I got maps for all Europe,just tell them which ones you want.
