Hi looking for a new double din and wondered which bmw models are similar to our cars ?

Looks to be E46 by this advert but that one is certainly the correct shape if that helps.

Yes, the E46 was in production from 1998 to 2006, almost exactly mirroring the production life of our cars.

You will have to cut off the "ears" though so before fitting, test the unit.

If you are looking for a double din unit rather than a shape specific unit to fit then just buy an facia adaptor and choose any standard double din unit.
