Silver '03 Diesel 75 Tourer - Reluctant sale **SOLD**
Sorry - *** SOLD ***
I'm sadly putting my sliver 2003 75 diesel Tourer Club up for sale. She's been a good car in the 3 years I've owned her but it's now time to part company - I have a new car and wifey won't let me have 2 . I want her to go to a good home (the car, not wifey - she's already got a good home!) where she'll get the attention she deserves. It's pretty much standard other than a Synergy 2 unit and the Synergy Button fitted with a Pierburg MAF, and the EGR bypass mod. There are some niggles that would be easy to fix but I simply don't have the time at present. Looking for offers around £600. REDUCED Details:
It is what it is. Make me an offer. Any questions or want further info PM me. Images on Photobucket Silver button to the RHS of the gear knob is the Synergy button.

The buzz will be your roof skin resonating on the spars sitting 2mm below it.
(well known fault with Tourers without sunroofs!!) Many main agents replaced exhausts to no avail when these were new. To confirm: Try pushing the roof lining upwards just behind your head when vibration occurs. The cure is to remove the roof lining and pack the spars with silicone sealer. Half a days work. Let me know your findings

Ahhh - so!
Will have a go. Will let you know. (That's poetry, that is!) Seems to be the back, LH side. Will let you know how it goes.

It appears to be back LH side and that's why dealers including main dealers used to change the exhaust to no avail.
I assure you the noise will be coming from exactly where the sunroof would have been !!! Press the headlining upwards while resonance is present and you'll notice an instant cure

Similar to one i looked at on Wednesday. I was looking for some tips from a member and wishfully hoping someone will hold my hand
Yours has that funny rectangular hole in the dash also My best guess was a fingernail trimmer/polisher? I presume the synergy is a tuning box? Got any pictures of the N/S? Plates replaced recently? Can you explain that to me? Not seen that so far? Whats the score on having one key? I spotted a post that said dont keep cranking if you have a low battery because it can erase the key. How hard is it to get another and cost? I presume there is no FBH on your car? Sorry for all the questions but im new to the 75 scene and dont want my first to be a lemon. Thanks. |

And then posting up on the original for sale thread to rub in your profit
No issue with what you've done, but rubbing it in to the the guy that missed out and then rubbing your profit in to the original seller is a bit OTT if you ask me

well after a most enjoyable trip Hm to Denton from Peterborough and upon arriving to collect this car Matt tell's me battery has lost charge with the cold snap so he spends £89.00 at Kwik fit for a new one and gives me the old one :-) it came with great paper work and on it's drive I'm well pleased also it looked as good in the flesh as it did on the advert and at £550 it was a bargain with it's new battery .....you need to be quicker getting old !!!
so lets keep the brand going in the club, and once again another great car from here has come my way. |
