All the moaning over the years about Royal Mail, people are now reaping the rewards by using cheapo cowboy outfits, it seems the cost is more important than customer satisfaction.

Mind you I am bias I worked for them for 40 years

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

I reckon Royal Mail are very good at least in our area. Always leave a card if not in and at least the cards tell the truth. Hermes cards are a pack of lies and its amazing how many times Hermes have told me I signed for the parcel when I was 15 miles away at work.

I have used Hermes loads of times to send parcels, only had a couple of things delivered by them, and found them ok.
I have had other things delivered by Yodel without problem,, RM ,can be a bit troublesome at times, they sometimes leave our parcels in our " safe place" . Depends on which van driver it is, other times they take back to sorting office which is only open certain hours and a 5 mile round trip.

I ordered a battery for my P4 from fleabay last week. It said Parcelforce 24.
Next thing l know l get a tracking e-mail from Yodel. The status has said 'short delay' for over a week now & the vendor has received a large flea in his ear stating that he has misrepresented himself & that l would not have placed the order had l known Yodel would be the carrier (no doubt why he did it).
I'm not best pleased.

Yodel are pants.
