O rings done, teeny whiff of smoke left...
Afternoon all.
Done my 1st job on my 75 CDTI, O rings! Im awarding myself man points for that. Took it for a run up street (literally 0.1 of a mile), Held the revs at 3k when parked and a whiff of smoke came out of exhaust. As opposed to the chernobyl type cloud that was previous. I take it this is residue of oil from the intercooler as there was a puddle in there!. Also, the previous owner decised to use leccy tape rather than O rings........ So an improvement none the less.
