Default 2005 mg zt 1.8t 160+ **SOLD**

MG ZT 160+
2005 54 Plate
Saloon
1.8 Turbo
65,300 Miles (may increase)
Xpower Grey
MOT March 2011 (will be sold with a full MOT)
TAX February 2011 (will re-tax at buyers cost, if required)

A lot has been spent on this car, which includes:

MLS Head Gasket, at 61827 car didn’t overheat, a previous bad repair.
New Slave Cylinder at 60797
Cambelt Service at 55603
New Turbo at circa 50k (lost receipt, done by Andy Willi)

Other bits and bobs
PRT replaced
Engine Temp Senor replaced
Rear shocks replaced at last MOT.
MG Rover Bluetooth Handsfree Fitted.
Kenwood iPod Head Unit that works with Steering Wheel Controls.
Recent Backbox (not by me)
New badges, front and back

Full service history, its just about due another to be correct in the book, but given it had the Head done at 61827, probably just need an oil/filter change.

Bad Points
Small pimple on one door (see image) and a couple of stone chips, no scraps on any corners.
Small Chip in windscreen
Only one key.
Yucky coolant, needs a good flush.
If I was really picky, I would have the wheels refurbished

The car is very clean, very smooth and nippy, be sad to see it go, but need must in this frugal new world.

Looking for £2,300 for a quick sale
.

More photos

I still enjoyed the car even with the heads and turbos and what not.

I'm certainly not a K series hater, and would have another no problem, but work is not great at the moment and needs must. the diesel 75 is dull as hell, but very frugal.

The buyer is not someone off here as he didnt know the site existed till i sent this link, but I think he must have been from the community site or the .org.

He seems a MG rover fan, says hes got a ZT diesel with load of remaps done and TF.

Oh go on then ill take it for a spin I wouldnt mind someone having a go in mine as I think dullness could be maf related.

Anyway, think we should move from the thread as keeps pushing other folks cars down the list.

(sorry all)

Hi Fellas, I'm the chap that bought Simons ZT and a nice car it is to.
Its true that I have a TF which is now for sale and also my ZT cdti which has 171BHP last tested. My misis wont let me have it back so I needed something to sway her to let it go. If interested I could post some pics.

It was pure chance I saw Simons advert! There is a problem with the heating but I'm sure I'll be able to track it down. If I cant then im sure someone here will help or on the .org will. Member since 2005.

Cheers guys. I would have loved to come to the nano meet but alass Cant!

Thanks again Simon. I'll wil be well looked after.

If you like the power of the 160 then you'll be blown away with the torque when you made a couple of mods to the Diesel.
