From a friend when going out for a drink.

"Oh, it's a lot nicer than I thought it would be. I was always told Rovers were cheap and nasty inside" (obviously never been in one then!).

 I have to admit that I get compliments from everyone who see's Roxy, including strangers at all hours of the day when I stop at petrol stations. A pedestrian once walked over to me and asked how I kept the wheels so clean ha ha

One mate at work takes the michael and says 'when are you going to buy a 'real' Jag?'. I'm usually too busy adjusting my pipe and cloth cap and putting my colour co-ordinated ash grey Rover logo'd driving slippers on for the journey home, to answer him!!

Got stopped at a petrol station by a chap who came over to admire the car. Said it looked fantastic, was it a V8 (I said no a V6) and then nods of approval with "nice" lots

Mind you, I was once asked what happened to the Special Edition, Beige 75 that Rover were going to call the Trilby!

To be honest I have only had positive comments about my 75, maybe something to do with the Big Staffy Benson watching them through the window

"Big car innit" ..

"Is it a Jag?"

"Nice colour"

"Bout time you bought a decent car"

"Bit posh innit"

And a comment from my tame mechanic while he was test driving it with me as a passenger:- "I know why you like this car, it drives just like a Jaguar".....
