retrofitting xenon headlights wierdness
Just recently replaced my standard reflectors on my mk1 with a set of xenon headlights. They work fine, but the ride height adjustment is behaving strange.
The self test works fine, but the manual adjuster wheel only works once - you move it to a position and it won't change ifyou move it again after, it remains stuck. e.g move it all the way down, lights move down. Move it back up, they don't move, so restart the car and lights, and it will move it back up again. Further movements on the dial have no effect until you turn on and off again. Anyone know if this is normal behaviour ifyou retrofit these lights, as I know ride height auto adjustment only occurs at startup? If not, what on earth could be wrong here?
