gear lever knob removal
trying to get the gear lever knob off to fit a new gear lever gaiter but to no avail. I've tried all ways to remove it but no joy. has anyone got any ideas,please!

Tourer method.
Fold rear backrest down. Open the tailgate. Place an air bed by rear bumper. Neel on backrest. Pull until you end up on the airbed with the gear knob .

It has disappeared following a software upgrade, apparently it is not compatible with the new forum software.
