Bit of a late notice but this is worth going to.



Battle of Britain Fly Over

We cannot enter the show with our motors (not vintage) but I have requested an area we can park together in the visitor park. Parking is free.

Admission costs are Adult - £8. Concessions £6. Family (2+2) £24

This is not an official club show and we attend as individuals. The club has no liability.

Pretty sure I'll be going to this Mick. Been a few times over the years, it's a nice show with a good atmosphere Usually quite a few interesting cars to be seen in the parking area before you even go into the show.

I went for first time last year. Loved it. Perhaps we can meet up and go convoy and park together

Yes it was a good show last year wasn't it? Similar weather to what we're having now.
Fingers crossed for this year.
It would be nice to meet up and drive in together Mick. Gates open at 10am, I'll let you decide the time and place. I'll be coming from South of the City centre.

There is a pub called Red Lion just off A57 - Kiverton lane. S26 1DJ. as you approach the roundabout on A57 it is on the right - 3rd exit signpost Todwick. We could meet there around 9.15 to 9.30.

Sadly we can't make this, we are going to the IOM for a few days for my birthday celebrations - it's only a number, but 70 is a BIG number

I see you are looking at going to the Lakeland Motor Museum meet, so hopefully we'll see each other there...

Great day at the Steam Rally. Lovely to meet Mick and Susie and see their wonderful V6. Shame we couldn't park together - very strict parking instructions by the Army Cadets!
If anything it was too hot! Just left in time to miss the worst of what looked like being a heavy shower.
Bit of a travesty we weren't allowed to book in to display the cars, as there were other cars and vehicles of similar age, even newer,than ours.
