Started raing 10 minutes ago and the beeb weather says it'll last all night into tomorrow , just what We're short here is more rain.

That's great news, that dog has been found. Poor thing must be cold hungry and thirsty having been stuck there all night, but at least he is safe .

I used to be able to go a Madras years ago, but now I couldn't,apart from the make it yourself cooking sauce, which isn't as hot as the takeaway/restaurant.T

The wife had a vindaloo once, when we first started going out, and I had a madras. I tasted a teaspoon full of the vindaloo, and my mouth was on fire, dont know how she managed it, neither does she really. I think it was an act of bravado, "if he's having madras, I'm having vindaloo, that'll show him".

Default Moving at last

Finally here tomorrow we shall be on our way to Nottingham, we have spent over fifty years at this address, and with a tear in our eyes we will miss all of our neighbours, really good friends.
Our new residence is a bungalow, in Radcliffe On Trent, a cross between a village and a town, why we chose this place was because it has all amenities we desire, a train service, a regular bus service into Nottingham and Grantham, ten minute walk into the town.

What we are really going to miss are all our friends in the club and our get togethers, we will miss Peter Harrison and John Howard who go out of their way to organise them (I thank You)
We shall miss especially Derek and Lilian who we have become close friends, hopefully he can get back on his feet again and drive his beloved car.
I have muted that any one passing in the area you are more than welcome to drop in for a cuppa.
Any one living within reasonable driving distance who may want to meet up let me know.

Rev

Wishing you the very best of everything in your new home Rev.
I'll give you a wave as we head down the A1 for Cornwall next Summer!

I'm now off on the school run - it's hardly daylight yet - what happened to Summer?

I'm OK with a Vindaloo and a cold beer, mind that Phal can be a bit of a challenge, both at the time of eating and the next morning
