BT Spoof Phone Call

Just had a call on the "land line", very strange because I never give it out only the mobile number.

There was a lady with a very heavy American accent telling me my BT line had been compromised and my account will be terminated immediately unless I gave them various information to confirm my identity .... so I hung up !

Phoned BT, using the mobile just in case they were still on the line, and they confirmed it was nothing to do with them.

So, lets see if anyone else gets one .........
