Meet and Mend It session
aye guys
I am looking at organising a venue to allow us to meet and learn/fix our cars. the venue will be Hemswell near Gainsboro in Lincs. It will be free to attend only paying for drinks. Date and time to be arranged. These will run on similar lines as the NANO. However, details are yet to be worked out. Please let me know if you are interested. I should be OK for this but you need to understand, I know nothing about diesels or T4's

I have replied to your pm Mick , Nano meets ( or whatever you call yours ) are unique as they offer hands on help for free and I wish you every success with it , you will need a few regulars who have a lot of knowledge about the cars and who are willing to pass it on plus of course people turning up. if I can help in any way please ask

I think it is a great idea, Mick - perhaps 2 or 3 times a year?
Success will be dependant on having 2 or 3 really knowledgeable members who will attend regularly like at the midlands meets. |

Meet and Mend it - 17 June 2023
I have organised for us to meet at Classix Car Auction Group site at Hemswell, Nr Gainsborough, Lincs. DN21 5TY.
Noel (owner) has kindly agreed to open his site for us to fix and learn about our motors for free. The idea for this meet is to allow individuals to work on their own car with the experienced and knowledgeable members there to offer advice and knowhow and not specifically to do any work unless they wish to. In this case it is accepted that the person offering or physically assisting do so with the permission of the car owner and accept no liability. Tea and coffee will be available for a small charge. If raining he will open up the garage where 2 cars can be worked on. Time will be 10 until 2. He needs to be strict on this although there is flexibility. Now the legal bit. Classix Group will have no liability for use of its premises and everyone accepts as individuals that any work carried out is the responsibility of the car owner. The Rover 75&MGZT Owners Club have no liability in any circumstance. All vehicles should be road legal. Don't forget to bring your own tools and humour and help where you can. See you there.
