Swapped the instrument cluster over to check ithe 'new' one over so I've now got matching blue lights right across the dash. Whoever swapped the cluster previously used a 75 unit with a petrol ZT set of dials, so not only were the redlines in the wrong place and the fuel gauge not stating 'diesel', I also had the warm white back lighting which clashed with the blue of the clock. Proper Frankenstein!

Just need to sort the mileage now. Any suggestions how I can get this to match what's in the LSM?

Pretty certain it needs to be on a T4 or Toaf.

Today i fitted the rear sun blind to my ZT,getting the parcel shelf out was a bit of a challenge as i didn't know how to remove it,although the sun blind was in a shelf,it was grey and mine is black.
After taking out the back seats and undoing the seat belt fixings i still could not figure out how the shelf came out,but after some choice words it came out.
I thought about keeping my black shelf and swapping over the blind, but decided that it was easier to just paint the shelf black. Before the final fitment i tested the motor and nothing happened, there was power going to the motor,so i took the motor off the housing and undone the 3 screws holding the plate on incase the motor was seased, hooked it up and it worked but not in the frame mechanism.i stripped the motor down again and rotated the cog roughly 180' and put it all back together for the umteenth time, and it worked,Painted the shelf black with just enough paint left in the can to do the job.reassembled everything, then went inside and had a rest.work's perfectly now.

Yes. Keep an eye on mine because I have covered mine in Waxoyle but it was on its way rusting 4/5 years ago. Will have to inspect mine.

Parked my zt derv up as the back box has decided to leave the rest of the system, I cant grumble, it is 18 years old.

A new stainless back box now on order.

Took no 1 75 ( my only manual) out of summer hibernation at the weekend and took the young fella out for some driving practice in a private car park.
Hand brake: not great
Clutch: heavy
Good for Practice?: great….😃
I’m just glad there was no-one else around.😳

We all had to learn somehow I suppose.😃
