You collected bugs. I collected a rabbit hutch! Luckily it was with my hooked up trailer (at least that's what it sounded like when seen by my son in law!).

Tried and failed to fit a new spring so I settled for fitting some front drop links.

Ed had a full clean today, followed by a window clean, wheel clean and had his seats leather creamed, so he's ready for the Kings Lynn Meet tomorrow!

Removed my rear bumper for the first time (surprisingly simple!) but failed to find the cause of the intermittent fault with my parking sensors,,,,further investigation (and perhaps a spare known to be working unit) required. From studying the extensive threads on the subject I am now suspecting a failing sensor or corroded wiring behind the bumper.....work in progress

Check boot for water ingress after downpour yesterday. All dry so it looks like the rear light seals were the cause. They had both split on join so re-glued and swapped LH/RH for better seal to lens housing.

Replaced after market (Cobra) parking sensors with another set of after market (Chinese) parking sensors. I think these were originally fitted due to sounder failure in IPK, now repaired thanks to Peter (klarzy-dials.com).

Fitted new pollen filter, the old one was pretty disgusting, and washed down all plenum covers etc.

Took another look at fan, OC silver resistor replaced but no low, or high for that matter, speed but continuity across fan terminals. Need to revisit this and take a few more readings when time allows.

Left battery on trickle charge as all this moving around is taking its toll

Stood back and thought "What a lovely car"

Been a taxi last two days and racked up almost 500 miles in the contemp saloon.... and loved it!

Smooth quick and quiet; and no cricky back which I get from our usual GM hire cars!

And feeling confident for the European trip now with new belts tensioners and water pump.

Happy happy; may give her a wash later if it stops raining!
