Default Diagnostic's

Hi,Is there a diagnostic's tool that can be used for reading error codes on my ZT 05 2ltr diesel,
I have read that T4 is the proper software for Rover/MG but it costs loads and is there a cheaper version?
I ask this because i have a Peugeot 206 SW and Peugeot use Peugeot Planet software but it costs Thousands for the pukka thing, but the cleaver Chinese do PP2000 which allows you to read codes and clear them for a fraction of the cost (around £50.00)which i have obd tool and usb cables (win10 Laptop running VMWare win 98)
Phil.

Yes, there something called Toaf which many of us use (use the search for more information). At the moment the Toaf website is down but if you PM your email I can send you the programme.

You'll also need a VW type KKL USB cable with pins 7 & 8 bridged, lots on eBay.

Regards

Good luck, it's a very useful tool especially to us in foreign places and if you're like me have a very intermittently functional T4.

Have a good look through, test your cooling fan too, reading / testing is fine but if you want to change any settings like in the BCU eg all door open with one click, make sure you back-up your existing module before making any changes. That way you can always restore.

Good luck
