Default One problem solved, another reveals itself.

Bank holiday monday, driving home to a squeal from the nsr wheel.... Parked up, that wheel is hot. Car in air, wheels off, inner pad down to metal. Of course, this problem reveals itself 30 minutes after ecp and every other factors has closed! Next morning new discs and pads (pagid/brembo), a good clean of the carriers and sliders, lube the sliders and all seems to be well with an unseized and cool wheel and far better pedal. Happily backplates in good shape.

On driving I'm suddenly getting about 15% better economy - 52 mpg airport run with a little traffic, it's an auto tourer btw.

However..... Rear arm is in a poor condition. Was a mot advisory but checked as being surface rust. See picture..... Screwdriver shows hole in spring cup!

Not a job I fancy but may be 8 weeks before I get into the specialist... The local indy doesn't fancy it. I shall be driving it sparingly until sorted!
