I did a Google search and came up with the forum. On my second 75 my first was a 2.0 v6 connoisseur saloon. Just got a 2.5 v6 connoisseur tourer one of the most underrated cars out there better to drive than an s or x type jag and in my eyes better looking too

I found the site through a search and have been reading the forum as a guest for a while, but only joined after I had secured my first 75 this week.

I was a member of that other Rover forum quite a few years ago as I owned a Rover 25 iS and then a 1.8 Rover 75 classic for a short time. I googled MG and Rover forums after I started to think about getting hold of a large diesel estate remembering how good my old 75 was to drive, despite the lack of oomph from under the bonnet.

Originally, I was looking for BMW diesels and kept seeing a number of slightly sneaky MG and Rover classified ads popping up with "Fitted with a BMW engine" in them Anyway, from a value for money point of view, you really do get a lot of car for the money with the 75/ZT estates, so we ended up buying one after having a nosey round on here for things to look out for The ideal car for our new arrival, 12 day old Alice

I was originally looking at the BMW 320d as a replacement for my ageing Audi A4 when i discovered the 75 had a beamer engine the rest is history.
