How to modify the front of your house.
Got home from the office tonight and noticed there were a few people standing about in my road.
When I pulled into my driveway, I noticed the house opposite looked a little strange..... The lady opposite had just driven her 3 series BMW through the closed garage door - demolishing the entire front of the garage and part of the house wall !!! Builders are out there now scratching their heads !!! |

Blimey, that takes a rather epic level of 'oops'!
Hopefully easy sorted, and nothing too structural...

I was on a new build site where a Jewson lorry parked at the top of the road, left his handbrake off, it rolled down the road at some speed into a double fronted detached property and literally pulled the gable end of the house off!

A team of about 6 men were there until about 2a.m. suring up with acro props and boarding over the gaping hole.
And yes she does drive an auto, most ladies of "eastern" origin do. But other that the bumper and bonnet car looks ok, she was lucky that none of the brickwork fell on the car. |

A friend of my Mother's had a Vanden Plas 1100 or 1300 (I think). The mechanic left it in her garage. She thought she'd just turn it over and it exited the garage through the closed door. He'd left it in gear.

An auto shouldn't start when left in gear. The engine should only start with the gear lever in Park or neutral.
If the lady used both feet to drive she could have stopped the car almost immediately innit. ... |
