Default ZT and 75 Front Strut Brace

As the title says, I have about 8 front strut braces for sale that are made specifically for our cars. These are folded, welded and powder coated top plates, aluminium extruded and shaped brace bar and all fixings. They fit all models including the V8 (without supercharger and with standard throttle body and plenum only). I also have them on ebay :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZT-Rove...0AAOSw3utY6-re

but will sell here for less at GBP100 including delivery. The pictures on ebay are the strut brace fitted to my own V8. Once they have gone, they are gone and I don't know if I will get any more. NOTE: on some models depending on age and engine, it may be necessary to slightly bend the AC pipe on the drivers side a little to give required clearance. Only needs a very little extra bend.

PM me if interested. Or use the ebay Buy it Now if you prefer.

Thx for looking and all the best,

JB

Default Front Strut Brace

All of the mounting brackets are the same colour blue. It would be too complicated to make in various colours. However, the powder coating is an excellent base for painting over if you wanted to paint a different colour.

Does the body flex enough in these cars to warrant a strut brace ?
Thought they were a quite rigid body.
Or are these a cosmetic addition ?

To me it's for cosmetics I'm sure I read before the zt/75 is pretty sturdy due to the position of the plenum chamber in relation to the struts so no real need for a brace.

Also will require removing to carry out some service task/maintenance.

This is about torsional stiffness. The ZT already has a high torsional stiffness rating compared to other cars. Its hard to say without proper testing but I suspect this will this brace should increase the front end on a ZT. It will defo improve the front end on a 75! It would be good to hear back from anyone who has fitted one.

There is an image showing the ZT rating but I can post it due to the employers restrictions on the PC.

JB Tourer do you have pics of these on a ZT/75?

Yes, sorry I should have been more specific. I was wanting to see how it fits with battery cover etc so a pic of a k series would be good. Maybe no one has one fitted yet.

Yes it would be nice to see the clearances and general appearance from the front of the car.
