Morning Phil,

All good here Sir.

Off to Norfolk for today and tomorrow, I have a feeling I shall be needing the heating turned up on the boat

Glad your results are sounding positive and long may that continue.

Thank you Jeff for your support and good wishes. I was just admiring Maria Lars https://flic.kr/p/2hT5qxh I like the way you highlighted her eyes and handled the light in lovely warm Christmas colours. Although you drive an Audi 4x4, do have a safe trip to the boat.

Morning all, feeling a bit grotty this morning with this cough, also a bit of a headache, so having a late start today, to try and pull myself round a bit.
Frost has lifted, but still a cold wind. I got up to go to the loo about 4.30 and it was still frozen then, but by the time we got up, it had lifted.

You mean you actually got through to your surgery without any problem on a Monday morning? And got an appointment same day? Not possible round here.

Morning all, Brr! hard frosty morning here, Just back from taking the car into the repairers again to get those jobs done, The cars dashboard was telling me all four tyres where under pressure! must be the cold because they were OK, The train coming back was delayed because of ice as far as I could tell what the station announcer was saying.
Even the digital information signs weren't working.
Bacon barm time.

Local surgery has on the day "urgent" appointments but you have to phone as soon as the place opens to get one.

When I lived up in Essex it would take me all week to try and get appointment. But down here they have a different system, ALL urgent cases get appointment straight away. Non urgent then that can take up to two weeks. They have my records and when I explained my symptoms to the lovely receptionist she said that I could get an appointment straight away.
