Cool

After I got back from the quacks I set about getting the cars washed. Temperature was hitting 15 degrees so was able to get them both dried in a flash.

Hoping to get the Bear clayed, waxed and polished tomorrow. Already for the winter, or what passes for winter down here.
So whilst I was out, I left a chunk of beef in the slow cooker covered in Bovril. And oh! My! Did it eat well with roast taters, fairy cabbages and gravy to die for.

Now chill in’ with a single malt.

Had an appointment with a solicitor last Friday. Price per hour is £190 plus vat ... had to pay £500 plus vat (£600 total) in advance for preliminary work with several thousands of pounds to follow no doubt.

Not at you Rod but speaking in general. Please if you haven't already done so make a will and don't be vague about it. Be very specific and fear not because if you are specific, and you must be, you will likely leave someone upset. Such is life. You will never please everyone. Just try to please yourself and the givers who have been with you and there for you for the marathon of your life and not the takers who crawl out of the woodwork near or after the end for what they can get.

Morning all, can,ur life and not the takers who crawl out of the woodwork near or after the end for what they can get.
I can relate to that 100% Steve. Plus our solicitor is £220 per hour plus vat. Morning all, can’t sleep for coughing. Come downstairs for a drink, put some Vick on my chest and throat, now sucking a Strepsil,in an attempt to quell the cough, and not keep the household awake along with myself..

Good morning all, more rain last night. The surgeon in the UK replied he is fully booked until the end of March, but he has asked to see a CD of the CT scan. So this morning I am driving to the hospital to try and get a CD of the scan and posted out via DHL to him. He said the threshold in his practice is 5.5 cm.

Good morning Bob, how did your GP deal with your sleeping problem? Not everyone is allowed a nightcap

Got a prescription for a large rubber mallet comes with instructions on how hit myself over the head............................. Only joking.

Need to relax more before going to bed. Stay off of the ipad & phone 2/3 hours before going to bed. Put some music on in the background when in bed. A nightcap is OK but a hot drink is a better idea.
So I'll be trying it out tonight although I did sleep a bit better last night.

Cool

Morning all from sunny Saltash.

No frost this morning but we do have blue sky.

As you may have read elsewhere on the forum that I have taken over the running of the club shop after Brian stepped down. Just hope I can do a good as job as Brian did.
