Cool

Morning everyone.

Frost again this morning and the start of a cracking sunrise.

Allen came round yesterday and measured up the tv surround, going to box the tv in. And we going to extend the kitchen unit into a breakfast bar. We went and got all the wood yesterday along with a tin of dark teak stain.
Allen is going to start on the work today.

Tonight we along with Val are off to the Cornish MGOC Xmas dinner, auction and raffle. Carvery at the Quintrell Inn near Newquay.

Dry and bright this morning, and quite mild for December, in reflective mood today, it’s 3 years since my dad passed away. Still seems like less than a year though. Luckily I am going to be busy today, so not much time to think about it. Stupid c h boiler causing problems again, keeps dropping the water pressure and I’m having to refill it at least twice a day now. Got a “senior” technician from Bali coming on Monday to hopefully sort it once and for all , the amount of parts and labour that have gone on that thing in the last 12 months, you would think it would be sorted by now, it’s practically been totally rebuilt.

Good morning all, currently 23C. 30C is expected with heavy rains this afternoon. In old money, we had 5 inches of rain in 6 days and the rains are supposed to continue until after new year. This morning I cleaned the pool and provided there is no lightning I might have a dip this evening to cool down for the night.....

The pool looks very inviting Phil.

It's mild enough here to do some gardening today, I've been planting some more garlic cloves out for next year, I planted some at the end of October &they're already a foot tall.

I've got orders to get all the Christmas gear out of the shed At least they're not in the attic, I'm not struggling getting stuff down from there again.

Afternoon all, What a grey day but very mild, I got some gardening chores done but the lawns are still sodden.

Salmon fillet, baked spud with John West tuna & French dressing jacket topper, That stuff is bootiful.

I'm in my den out the way of the missus! she's still wielding the carpet shampooer on the suite, I foresee wet bums

I'm up Rod's way on the Tees valley on shunting duties.
