Default Driver's door window switch.

Could anyone help with this, please? My 03 CDT electric window are playing up, when I started the car the other day the rear window opened by itself. The switches on the driver's door didn't respond or the rear door and I was stuck with an open window for my journey. I checked fuses, non gone. I swapped over the rear switches and I had a response and the window closed but the driver's door switches still didn't work (door mirrors work and illumination do). Then got in it again and everything worked again until the next day when I opened the driver's door window, it opened but again the switches didn't respond so had a journey in the rain with an open window. 20mins into my return journey, with a wet leg, it responded again and closed. Now the windows are closed I don't want to try to open them, does anyone have clue what it might be? I thought a dirty earth connection but don't know where that would be. I have unplugged the switches and plugged them back to no effect. Help and advice would greatly welcomed.

Hi, have you tried removing the switch pack from the car and cleaning all the contacts? I've only had problems with mirror switches on mine but cleaning these solved my issues.

Default Driver's door window switch.

Sounds like a body control module fault to me, I had a 75 that would unlock itself and wind all four windows down randomly!

Swapped the bcm and all was well.
