Moving on
I've just listed my 75 tourer on ebay, had eight good years with it but it's time to move on. Getting out of it is sometimes an effort and often flooded local roads and winter around the corner means I need something more suitable.
I will be listing any bits that are left after the sale. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. |

Sorry to hear your news. But don’t be a stranger pop in from time to time and let us know what you are going to replace the 75 with. Always good to hear people’s views on other makes in case someone else wants to get the same motor.

Certainly some people struggle with the low seating position. It's a shame you have to change the car, but it sounds like you need an amphibious vehicle. Good luck but remember that your knowledge and experiences with our Marque could benefit others.

My wife had started to struggle to get in and out of the passenger seat in the75. So I have obtained a lefthand drive drivers seat with the manual adjustable height function. I spent the day swapping the frame and covers over as my car was fitted with Alcantra's from an MGZT. All started well until I realised that the replacement frame did not have the supports for the bolster pads. So out with the Angle Grinder and welder and the jobs a good one. The wife gave it a test drive and found getting in and out of the car is much much easier. So might be worthwhile to consider this than swapping the car.
