KV6 thermostat question
Hi everyone,
I just received my reaplcemt thermostat for the faulty one I fitted in the summer and I have a feeling that this one maybe just the same as well. I tried testing it and when pouring cold water from the top water is still sipping out just at a slower rate than hot water. Are KV6 thermostats meant to work this way or is it again a case of a thermostat not fully closing? Thanks in advance, Thanos |

It's 'leaking' through the jiggle valve presumably. It's a small ball velve that allows air to be vented out when refilling the cooling system. I should have a photo somewhere, which I'll add here if I find it.

I'm just wondering if I should risk fitting another aftermarket one as I don't feel like having to do a thermostat a 3rd time or should I just order what is advertised as orginal in rimmers. Thanos |
