Mmmm, worth charging the battery and seeing if it will hold a charge off the car?

These motors can develop faults that drain good batteries.

Wasn't happy with the silver one, which was cheaper a bit more budget than this one as it had been a works runabout (the garage/dealer I went to specialises in TFs).

So I looked at this instead! 65,000, very full history indeed with the book stamped annually without fail and a further folder of invoices. Very good underneath (dealer put it up on the lift for us).

Some nice extras too: spoiler, hardtop, side scoops, clear rear lights, roll hoop, glass windstop, stainless sports exhaust (moderately loud, getting used to this still!), K&N filter, tonneau etc.

Also a private plate. Last owner sadly passed away so the widow asked the dealer (who had sold it to them) to resell. I assume that's why the plate is staying on the car.

Car has done very few miles since 2011 which is when the head gasket, belts, tensioner and water pump were done so I need to decide whether to trust the low miles or get them done again. Aside from that it doesn't seem to need anything.

Still keeping the 75, but with my daughter now driving she nabs my wife's car, who then nabs the 75 so a 3rd set of wheels is handy.

An incredibly reasonable £170 to insure 7500 miles p.a. on a classic policy (no NCB as used on the 75) with mods declared.

That is very, very nice.

Fitted a new crankshaft sensor - no change, still won't start.

Also, fitted a replacement bush & housing at the rear of one of the lower suspension arms.

Had plans for loads of work on my daily but yet again DMGRS lied about delivery so parts didn’t turn up and car off road for another day.

Oh and another thing Mr DMGRS “genuine MG Rover part” does not mean SIAC part made in China it means a part made for or by MG rover before their demise

I don’t know why people rate this guy given his history does no one remember the tazu fiasco?

My mistake for buying from him twice in a row this has happened will spend the few (and it is a few) extra pounds and get real genuine parts from rimmers in future. Lesson learned

How can ’genuine MG Rover’ parts still be available so long after they have gone bottom’s up?? It is about time this caper was called out for wha it is:- not genuine parts. The parts that were produced for MGRover have long gone. Now, if they by chance say:- these are of the same design and are the same specification as MGRover parts, then that would be a true statement of fact that could be tested in a court of law. If people want to believe all the guff surrounding the spare parts for our cars, then let them. Perhaps I am more of a suspecting nature than other people.

I think you will like this picture. Read the origin on the label on the bag then check out the label on the switch inside.
