Mangusta Q'vale
Just read an interesting snippet about this rare motor. Made by De Tomaso in partnership with Q'vale, an exotic car dealer in the states. With just over 200 cars being made they ran into financial problems and the company was sold to MGRover in 2002.

Wasn't the MG SV based off a De Tomaso car?
Fair play management were in a world of their own weren't they. |

Butt ugly wasn't it?
The much-maligned SVR was an improvement if you ask me!

Yes it was! There is no visual link between the SV and the car it's based on. An extraordinary transformation.

Oh my god that thing's fugly!!! Still, gave MG a chance to crack out a supercar though.
Which was also rather aesthetically challenged..............

The mangusta, I’m not a fan of the sv’s looks either, Just like some tvrs my eyes are drawn to the parts from the cares they used to adorn.

The SV is a bit of a brutish design but I do like it. More of a muscle car (ala Mustang) than a supercar. Of course I live overseas where we didn't get any of the boring cars they borrowed bits from so that doesn't bother me.
And I do like TVRs.
