Cool 10 years ago today.........................

................................. The Flying Banana came into my life on 60,000 miles. Still together, and now on 209,700. Longest I have ever owned car, closest was our Rover 220SD which we had 9 years. We have had a few issues over the years, most are documented on here. Been times when I thought I would get rid after spending out more money on her.

We’ve been all over the UK at various events. Full filled a dream of finally reaching John ‘O Groats, been to Lands End as well. Had magazine articles done, been on the telly, represented this club at the NEC. Been on the 90 car line up at Silverstone Live. Picked up a few trophies along the way, and some damage.

So here’s to the next 10 years.

Congratulations Bob, you have done the car, the club and yourself proud. Enjoy the “feel good factor”......

Remember this? A little video I shot many years ago of your pride and joy at a meet https://youtu.be/KljxN166gs8

Default Flying Banana

Bob, don't ever regret for one minute what you have spent on that car. It's brought you everything in terms of happiness and sanity over the past awful years you have gone through. I absolutely applaud you for sticking with her and she is still a marvellous car. I feel the same about Raven black.
All the best to you as always.
