Airbag light, side issue
Okay, we all know that the airbag light is due to a dry joint in the connector under the drivers seat. I got around that by connecting the yellow wire directly.
However my question is ... Do the other wires in the same connector not suffer the same problem? And ... what are they?

There are two twin wire connectors under each front seat. One is the airbags and the other is for the seat belt pre-tensioner.
They fail because they're a bad design with very short pin contacts. They also have a bi-metal corrosion issue by all accounts. TC |
