Traction System Warning Light
Having just replaced the ABS pump on my 75 V6 to stop the ABS warning light coming on, the Traction System Warning Light is now permanently on and a laptop diagnostic system will not turn it off. Any idea why this is happening?

They are physically the same, was it the same part number?
Why was it changed? The only way to rid the traction warning light if it is from a non-traction car is to change the vehicle ZCS coding Russ

Further to all this, if ANYONE EVER scraps a diesel with a working ABS pump, PLEASE salvage the pump. They are as rare as hen's teeth on the used market and that puts the prices through the roof. All the others are a dime a dozen.
