I worked there in my first year with BT mmmm 37? years ago.
I bet its nothing like I recall.

One day I left my scarf behind. Opened the door at the top of the stairs down to the bunker, saw how dark it was and went home with out it. Got it the next day when others were there.
No idea what work we were doing there and I know I did not properly look around it or appreciate it.... now I so regret it.
